This phase will break down into five legs (legs are based on 15 mile days). This may not be achievable every day, some days we may make more. Last winter we were hard pressed to make 10 miles on some days.

A total distance of approx 1,631 miles, with a number of actual walking days at 120. We can then add 5 days at each of the waypoints for administration and rest (25 days) giving us a total of 145 days, almost 5 months. (We must expect some days to go pear shaped).
